In an increasingly globalized world, cultural competence has become a key component of effective language teaching and learning. This paper explores practical strategies to foster authentic cultural understanding in language classrooms. Emphasis is placed on pedagogical frameworks that integrate real-world experiences, intercultural communication, and critical thinking to enhance learners’ cultural awareness and sensitivity. By reviewing relevant literature and classroom-based examples, the paper aims to provide language educators with concrete tools to promote meaningful and transformative learning experiences.
