This article explores how cross-cultural contacts impact topics, narrative styles, and character development in order to analyze the important role that intercultural communication has played in forming global literature. In order to heal divisions and promote empathy for people around the world, the essay offers a thorough examination of the ways that literature both reflects and fosters cultural diversity. The essay places intercultural communication in the literary setting and talks about how technology and globalization make it easier for people from different cultures to share ideas and beliefs. It makes the case that literature is a potent medium for fostering harmony and understanding since writers and readers combine aspects from many cultural contexts into their works
