SUFFIXES IN ENGLISH: ADJECTIVES, NOUNS, VERBS

Main Article Content

Аннотация:

This article suggests that English is a rich tapestry of morphological complexity, and suffixes play a decisive role in the formation of words and their grammatical functions. Suffixes are bound morphemes added at the end of stem words, serving adjectives, as important characters for grammatical categories such as nouns and verbs. Their function goes beyond simple affixation; they facilitate word formation, expand vocabulary and provide subtle expression, and make them a key element of English morphology. Understanding how Suf-Corrections work within a language not only illuminates the structural subtleties of the English language, but also provides insights into language development, cognitive processing, and effective communication.
