Abstract:
Gender equality and equity are fundamental principles that drive social and economic progress. In Uzbekistan, significant strides have been made in promoting gender equality, yet challenges persist, particularly in the realm of education and access to opportunities for girls. This article explores the status of gender equality in Uzbekistan, focusing on the importance of providing free university education and grants to empower girls and women. Drawing upon existing literature and statistical data, this article offers insights and recommendations to enhance gender equity in education and beyond.
