TEACHING ENGLISH IN PRIMARY CLASSES THROUGH INTERACTIVE METHODS: THE EXAMPLE OF THE TPR METHOD

This article analyzes the possibilities of using the Total Physical Response (TPR) method as an interactive approach in English lessons for primary classes. TPR is a kinesthetic method that helps learners understand and memorize the language through physical actions, making it especially effective for young learners. The article discusses the role of TPR in organizing interactive lessons, its effectiveness in vocabulary teaching, and its ability to ensure active student participation. Research shows that TPR can increase vocabulary, strengthen memory and comprehension, and enhance interest in lessons [1:5].
