MORPHOMETRY OF THE OLIVARY NUCLEUS AND ITS ROLE IN MOTOR LEARNING DISORDERS

Main Article Content

Аннотация:

The morphometry of the olivary nucleus—particularly the inferior olive—is an important area of study for understanding the mechanisms underlying motor learning disorders. Located within the brainstem, this nucleus plays a fundamental role in coordinating voluntary movements by transmitting sensory and motor signals to the cerebellum through climbing fibers. Its distinct anatomical and functional properties make it crucial for acquiring and refining motor skills, and structural abnormalities within this region can lead to significant motor coordination deficits.
