INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION IN THE DIGITAL ECONOMY OF DEVELOPED COUNTRIES: NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

Abstract:

This article examines the legal and institutional aspects of intellectual property protection in the context of the digital economy in developed foreign countries and comprehensively analyzes the technological mechanisms. In particular, using the experience of the USA, European Union countries, Japan, and South Korea, the authors highlighted effective methods for protecting intellectual property objects in the internet environment, including digital rights management (DRM), online monitoring, the use of artificial intelligence technologies, and the importance of international cooperation. The article also examines issues regarding the prevention of copyright and related rights violations in the digital environment, content licensing, and the improvement of liability measures for violations. Concrete proposal for the development of the intellectual property protection system in Uzbekistan through a comparative analysis of national and foreign experience and recommendations.
