Abstrak:

Ushbu maqola selenning gormonal faoliyatga ta’sirini va uning endokrin tizimdagi ahamiyatini o‘rganishga qaratilgan. Selen – kuchli antioksidant bo‘lib, tanadagi gormonlar ishlab chiqarish va ularning to‘g‘ri faoliyatini qo‘llab-quvvatlashda muhim rol o‘ynaydi. Tadqiqotda selenning tireoid gormonlar, jinsiy gormonlar, stress bilan bog‘liq gormonlar va insulin bilan o‘zaro aloqasi, shuningdek, uning gormonal disbalansning oldini olishdagi ta’siri yoritiladi. Selen yetishmovchiligi va ortiqchaligining endokrin tizimda yuzaga keltirishi mumkin bo‘lgan oqibatlari ham muhokama qilinadi. Selenning gormonal salomatlik va umr davomiyligini uzaytirishga qo‘shadigan hissasini o‘rganish kelajakda bu elementning davolash va profilaktika sohasidagi qo‘llanilishi uchun istiqbolli yo‘nalishlarni ochib beradi.
