In today's globalized world, bilingual dictionaries play a crucial role in facilitating communication and promoting cultural understanding between different language communities. The creation of a bilingual dictionary requires a strong linguistic basis, particularly when dealing with languages that have significant differences in terms of grammar, vocabulary, and cultural context. That's why, the article deals with the linguistic basis of the formation of English-Karakalpak dictionary.
