Abstract:
This article analyzes the impact of international assessment systems, specifically PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment) and TIMSS (Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study), on the quality of education. It discusses the methodologies of PISA and TIMSS, their roles in assessing students' knowledge and skills, and their significance for national education systems. This article provides interesting opportunities to explore how international assessment results are implemented in national education systems and the strategies employed to improve education quality.
