. The topic of effective leadership in education management examines the key aspects that contribute to the successful functioning of educational institutions. An effective leader in the field of education not only manages the educational process, but also forms a strategic vision, motivates the team and creates conditions for the professional growth of teachers and the successful development of students. The article analyzes various approaches to leadership, including Bernard Bass's transformational leadership, John Cotter's theory of change, and the role of emotional intelligence proposed by Daniel Goleman. Particular attention is paid to the challenges faced by heads of educational institutions, such as resistance to change, low staff motivation and lack of resources. Ways to address these challenges are also considered, including the development of flexibility in management, the use of situational leadership, and the formation of teamwork. Effective Leadership in Education Management Education requires managers not only to have managerial skills, but also to be able to inspire and support their team by providing a supportive environment for learning and development.
