Abstract:

This study explores the role of discourse and discourse analysis in the context of the Uzbek language, focusing on its application in understanding sociocultural and political phenomena. Discourse, as a means of communication, plays a crucial role in shaping and reflecting societal values, ideologies, and power structures. This research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative techniques to analyze political speeches, media texts, and everyday conversations in Uzbek.
