Abstract:
In this scientific work, the issue of the characteristics, formation models, and types of compound terms in the Karakalpak language is addressed. Basically, compound words and compound terms were compared, and their characteristics were studied. Furthermore, the work states that the new hybrid term type, formed by combining Russian-international words with Karakalpak words, also appeared in terminology and subsequently entered general usage. During the research, relevant examples were provided, taking into account the opinions of terminology scholars. At the same time, our scientific article extensively covers the methods of forming compound terms, their types, and which parts of speech they are derived from.
