DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PRESENTMED DIGITAL PLATFORM FOR STRUCTURED PATIENT ROUTING IN COLOPROCTOLOGY

Main Article Content

Abstract:

This study presents the development and implementation of the PresentMed digital platform designed to ensure structured and continuous patient routing within coloproctology services. The platform integrates outpatient, inpatient and telemedicine components into a unified information system, providing electronic medical records, standardized clinical pathways, remote consultations and real-time analytical monitoring. A pilot implementation conducted across multiple regions of Uzbekistan (630 patients, 2020–2025) demonstrated reduced diagnostic delays, fewer incorrect referrals, expanded use of modern diagnostic methods and increased telemedicine utilization. Clinical outcomes also improved: early-stage detection rates increased, the need for surgical interventions decreased and the frequency of complicated cases declined significantly. Patient satisfaction, treatment adherence and trust in the healthcare process showed notable growth. These findings indicate that PresentMed is an effective tool for improving the quality, accessibility and coordination of specialized care and has strong potential for scaling to other medical domains
