Abstrak:

This study examines the cognitive aspects of educational discourse in English and Uzbek languages, highlighting the influence of language and culture on the learning process. It explores cognitive theories, including sociocultural perspective, to understand how this languages shape knowledge acquisition and teaching methods. The paper discusses the role of cognitive engagement in language learning, the impact of cultural context on cognitive development, and the application of these theories in education. The findings suggest the importance of adopting interactive, culturally responsive teaching strategies to create inclusive, effective learning environments for students in both English and Uzbek educational systems.
