LINGUISTIC ANALYSIS OF CONCEPT “FRIENDSHIP”

This paper analyses the linguistic characterizations of the notion of “friendship”, focusing in particular on some EnglishUzbek cultural encounters. In this paper we revisit the question whether these conceptualizations are individual or culturespecific and attempt to answer this question through the linguistic analysis of the concept “friendship”, and its Uzbek dictionary and translation equivalents
