Zamonaviy texnologiyalarning rivojlanishi tibbiyot sohasida ham ilg‘orlab bormoqda. Ofatalmologiya sihasi ham shular jumlasidandir. Quyida sun’iy intellekt tizimlarining tarixi, insoniyat faoliyatida tutgan o’rni, sun’iy intellektning texnologiyasi, ko‘rish qobiliyati bilan bog’liq bo’lgan kasalliklarni sun’iy intelekt yordamida baholash, oldini olish va sun’iy intellekt tizimlarini hayotga tatbiq qilishning ahamiyati yoritilgan.
