Silybum marianum (L.) Gaerth. (Asteraceae) - a valuable medicinal plant The following pharmacological properties of dosage forms from Silybum marianum are described in domestic and foreign literature: antioxidant, antitoxic, hemostatic, hepatoprotective, detoxifying, choleretic, anti-inflammatory, wound healing, reparative, laxatives, tonic, cholagogue, tonic, cholagogue, choleretic. Milk thistle fruit has been used to treat a range of diseases for over 2,000 years. It is widely used in practice as a hepatoprotector, especially in liver diseases. Currently, the introduction of a number of effective methods that provide a fast and high level of accuracy in trace element analysis has opened up a wide range of possibilities in this regard.
