THE ROLE OF VICTIM BEHAVIOR IN THE COMMISSION OF INTENTIONAL HOMICIDE

Abstract:
The article analyzes the role of the victim’s behavior in the commission of intentional homicide. According to the research findings, 43% of victims were under the influence of alcohol, and 65% exhibited negative behavior at the time of the crime. The level of victimization manifests in active, passive, and contributory forms. Immoral, careless, and provocative actions of the victim create situations that contribute to the commission of homicide. The study examines the social, psychological, and cultural characteristics of victims and their impact on criminal behavior. The results are significant for implementing victimological preventive measures and enhancing personal safety in cases of intentional homicide.
