Abstract:

This article explores the gender disparities in the field of science, emphasizing the underrepresentation of women and the systemic challenges they face, including implicit biases, lack of mentorship, and unequal access to opportunities. It highlights the societal and institutional barriers that hinder women's participation and advancement in STEM fields. The article also provides actionable strategies to increase the role of women in science, such as promoting STEM education for girls, addressing workplace biases, creating supportive environments, and fostering inclusive networks. It concludes by underscoring the importance of gender equity in science for fostering innovation and global progress.
