Abstrak:
The article analyzises that the term “epistolary novel” is traditionally associated with the oldest and most wellknown version of the form: fiction told through letters and how the intermediary act of writing affects the way the message passes from the narrator to the reader. This fictional device of writing a novel in letters relies upon effects involving authenticity, intimacy and immediacy.
