Abstract:
This article provides an in-depth analysis of the multifaceted role of museums operating in the Republic of Karakalpakstan in the development of tourism. Specifically, it highlights the roles of the Igor Savitsky State Art Museum of Karakalpakstan, Berdakh State Museum of the History of Karakalpak Literature, and Aral Sea History Museum in Muynak in creating an international brand, revitalizing economic activity, strengthening socio-spiritual education, and fostering environmental awareness. The article also explores the potential of museums in the digitalization process and their adaptability to modern tourism trends. The findings suggest that museums can be considered a key strategic tool for enhancing the tourism potential of Karakalpakstan.
