Abstract:
This scientific article presents a historical and scientific analysis of the stages of formation and development of the preschool education system in Uzbekistan in the 1920s–1990s. The article examines the educational policy of the Soviet government, the creation of the first kindergartens, the influence of economic and social factors in the 1930s–1950s, the processes of post-war recovery and the transformation of preschool education into an institutional system in the 1960s–1990s. Based on historical sources, the pedagogical approaches, educational programs, teaching aids, the system of training teaching staff, and the expansion of the network of preschool institutions characteristic of that era are analyzed. The article examines, on a scientific basis, the influence of the Soviet period policy on the development of preschool education in Uzbekistan, revealing the factors that laid the foundation for the development of this system in subsequent periods.
