GENRE AND ARTISTIC FEATURES OF UZBEK AND CHINESE CHILDREN’S SONGS

Abstract:
This article comparatively examines the genre and artistic features of Uzbek and Chinese children's folk songs. It highlights the poetic characteristics of children's songs in both cultures, such as their thematic range, structure, and stylistic devices. By analyzing examples of children's verses in Uzbek and Chinese (with translations), the study identifies similarities and differences in imagery, rhyme, and form. The findings shed light on how these folklore songs encapsulate cultural values and creative expression, providing insight into the poetics of childhood in Uzbek and Chinese traditions.
