LEXICAL-SEMANTIC FIELD ANALYSIS OF PAREMIA AND PHRASEOLOGISMS RELATED TO FOOD CULTURE IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK

Abstract:
This article describes in detail how food culture in English and Uzbek is not only about preparing or consuming delicious food, but also about reflecting the lifestyle, values, and mentality of the people. The author emphasizes that in gastronomic tourism research, combining linguistics and cultural studies, the culturally specific worldview of peoples can be illuminated by analyzing paremias and phraseologisms related to food. The lexical-semantic field of paremias and phraseologisms related to food culture in English and Uzbek is analyzed in detail and explained with examples
