The most important general-purpose technology of our time is artificial intelligence, specifically machine learning (ML) - that is, the ability of a machine to continue to improve its performance without humans having to explain exactly how to do it. In the past few years, machine learning has become much more efficient and widespread. Now we can create systems that learn to perform tasks independently
