This article explores the role of Meta concepts as foundational units of sociocultural knowledge. Meta concepts are higher-order, abstract concepts that frame and influence our understanding of specific cultural and social phenomena. They serve as cognitive tools that shape how individuals perceive, interpret, and engage with their social and cultural environments. By examining key examples of Meta concepts such as democracy, freedom, and justice, the article highlights their impact on collective consciousness, identity formation, and social behavior. The discussion emphasizes the importance of Meta concepts in guiding cultural norms, values, and practices, and provides insights into their dynamic nature and role in sociocultural evolution.
