MODERN PEDAGOGIES OF TEACHING ENGLISH SPEAKING SKILLS IN UZBEKISTAN
Main Article Content
Аннотация:
This paper explores modern pedagogical approaches in teaching English speaking skills in Uzbekistan, focusing on secondary schools in the Syrdarya region. It examines how communicative, task-based, and technology-supported methods influence students’ speaking competence. Data were collected from 15 English teachers and 15 eleventh-grade pupils through questionnaires and classroom observations. The study found that teachers are gradually adopting modern pedagogies, though challenges such as limited training, time, and resources remain. The results contribute to understanding how global teaching practices can be adapted to local educational contexts in Uzbekistan.
