This article analyzes the linguistic expression of Sufism philosophy in Eastern and Western literature. The main objects of study are the works of Jalaluddin Rumi and Dante Alighieri. The article examines how the authors convey spiritual awakening, inner purity, moral and spiritual development through linguistic and literary devices. In Rumi’s works, such as the Masnavi and quatrains, Sufism philosophy is expressed through poetic and lyrical imagery, metaphors, nature symbolism, and stylistic techniques. In Dante’s Divina Commedia, Sufism philosophy is presented through dramatic descriptions, symbols, structured narrative, and stylistic devices, portraying human spiritual and moral trials. The study provides a detailed analysis of the role of metaphor, allegory, imagery, language, and style in conveying philosophical meaning. Additionally, it compares Eastern and Western literary traditions, examines the impact of cultural context on linguistic expression, and highlights the relevance of Sufism philosophy in modern linguistic, literary, and psychological studies. The results demonstrate that linguistic and literary analysis of Rumi and Dante’s works enables a deeper understanding of spiritual awakening, inner purity, and moral growth.
