This article explores the challenges of interpreting lexical-stylistic devices in literary texts, with a focus on a comparative study of Uzbek and English. The author highlights the importance of understanding the cultural and linguistic context in which these devices are used, as well as the need for a nuanced approach to interpretation that takes into account the multiple layers of meaning conveyed by these devices.
