XX asr oxiri — XXI asr boshlarida din yana siyosiy kun tartibida muhim o‘rin egallay boshladi. To‘liq sekulyarizatsiya kutilganiga qaramay, diniy g‘oyalar, institutlar va diniy yetakchilar ichki va tashqi siyosatga, ijtimoiy ziddiyatlarga hamda identiklik jarayonlariga ta’sir ko‘rsatishda davom etmoqda[1,4]. Bu «dinning qaytishi» dunyoviy tamoyillardan voz kechish emas, balki din, davlat va xalqaro munosabatlar o‘rtasidagi o‘zaro aloqalarning yanada murakkablashuvi orqali namoyon bo‘lmoqda[2].
