ALISHER NAVOIY AND WORLD LINGUISTICS
Main Article Content
Аннотация:
This thesis analyzes the linguistic views of the great thinker Alisher Navoi and their relevance to modern linguistics. His treatise "Muhokamat ul-lughatain" deserves special attention, in which he compares the phonetic, lexical and semantic features of the Turkic and Persian languages, providing evidence of the richness and expressive power of the Turkic language. The thesis examines in detail Navoi's views on multilingualism, lexicology, sociolinguistics and philosophy of language, and shows similarities with later linguistic paradigms such as cognitive linguistics and intercultural dialogue. His defense of the native language is considered an early example of linguistic nationalism and the formation of cultural identity. Navoi's legacy shows that language is not only a means of communication, but also an important factor in intellectual development and cultural heritage. In today's era of globalization, his ideas remain crucial for preserving linguistic diversity and enriching world linguistics.
