Matematika va uning turli bo‘limlari, jumladan, geometrik bilimlar, boshlang‘ich ta'limda o‘quvchilarga asosiy mantiqiy fikrlash va analitik ko‘nikmalarni rivojlantirishda muhim o‘rin tutadi. Geometriya, o‘quvchilarga nafaqat shakllar va ularning xususiyatlari haqida bilim beradi, balki ular orasidagi bog‘lanishlarni anglashga ham yordam beradi. Shakllar va ularga xos xususiyatlarni tushunish, matematik tafakkur va mantiqiy fikrlashni mustahkamlashga asos soladi. Geometrik o‘yinlar va mashqlar, aynan shu jarayonda, o‘quvchilarga tasavvur va ijodiy fikrlashni rivojlantirishda samarali vosita bo‘lib xizmat qiladi.Sinfdan tashqari ta'lim, o‘quvchilarning o‘rganish jarayonini kengaytirish va ular uchun turli shakllarda yangi bilimlarni taqdim etish imkoniyatini yaratadi. Shuningdek, bu usul o‘quvchilarning nazariy bilimlarini amaliyot bilan mustahkamlashga yordam beradi. Geometrik o‘yinlar sinfdan tashqarida o‘quvchilarga o‘rganilgan materiallarni real hayotdagi vaziyatlarga qo‘llash imkoniyatini yaratadi.
