COMPREHENSIVE RADIOLOGICAL DIAGNOSIS OF PAYRA’S DISEASE IN CHILDREN

Main Article Content

Abstract:

Payra’s disease, also known as congenital duodenal-jejunal stenosis, is a rare developmental anomaly of the small intestine that leads to partial intestinal obstruction in children. Although uncommon, it poses a significant diagnostic challenge due to nonspecific clinical symptoms such as vomiting, abdominal distention, and failure to thrive. Early and accurate radiological diagnosis is essential to prevent complications like volvulus, chronic malnutrition, and perforation.
