Abstract:

By the reign of the Ashtarkhanid dynasty, Bukhara retained its position as the main center of Islam in Central Asia. Scholars of Islam, mullahs, sheikhs, and teachers came here from all directions. We read the following about this in "Ubaydullanoma." "In the beautiful city of Bukhara and its surroundings, there were so many theologians, scholars, pious people, and saints that they could not be counted."
