Abstract:
This article analyzes the role and significance of the concept of “labour” in shaping the linguistic picture of the world. Through the study of proverbs, phraseological units, and lexical layers in various languages, the research highlights the cultural and cognitive characteristics of the notion of labour, as well as the similarities and differences in the attitudes of different peoples toward work.
