Abstract:

The gastrointestinal system plays a key role in the complex mechanisms of immunoregulation. The common embryonic matrix of entodermic derivation of respiratory and gastrointestinal tissues confers immunological peculiarities regarding the early sensitization and activation of tolerance mechanisms to the digestive system.
