The article is devoted to the fact that in the preparation of future specialists in the field of medicine, the study of the Latin language is of great importance. Already in the first year in medical science, students come across special concepts in Latin. Therefore, it is necessary to attach special importance to its study not only as the language of one of the most ancient cultures, but also as the language necessary in the practical work of a medical specialist.
