This article examines the application of communicative approaches in teaching stylistic variation in English speech. The study emphasizes how interactive methods, such as dialogues, role-plays, scenario-based tasks, and text transformation activities, enhance learners’ ability to switch between formal, informal, academic, and literary registers¹. Practical classroom strategies are discussed, showing improved pragmatic competence, stylistic awareness, and effective communication skills among learners².
