Abstract:

This article explores the cultural and lexical significance of English idioms. Idioms are examined as important linguistic units that reflect national mentality and cultural values. The study focuses on the challenges of translating idioms, their contextual meanings, and their role in intercultural communication. Furthermore, the article analyzes how idioms contribute to a deeper understanding of language and culture in the process of language learning.
