BALZAC’S WORKS AND THEIR SIGNIFICANCE IN WORLD LITERATURE

Аннотация:
This paper analyzes the literary heritage of Honoré de Balzac, one of the greatest representatives of French realism. Balzac’s works reflect the social, economic, and moral life of 19th-century France in a detailed and realistic manner. The study focuses on the main themes, characters, and artistic features of Balzac’s novels, especially his monumental cycle The Human Comedy. Furthermore, the importance of Balzac’s contribution to the development of realistic prose and world literature is discussed.
