Abstract:

This thesis provides a comprehensive overview of the main genera and species of the Chenopodiaceae family, their distribution and importance. This family consists mainly of plants adapted to arid and saline soils, including important genera such as Atriplex, Salicornia, Salsola, Suaeda and Kochia.
