Abstrak:
Mazkur maqolada qiyosiy va chog‘ishtirma tilshunoslikning nazariy asoslari, ularning farqli va umumiy jihatlari, shuningdek, lingvistik tadqiqotlar uchun ahamiyati tahlil qilinadi. Qiyosiy tilshunoslik turli tillarning genealogik va tipologik o‘xshashliklarini aniqlashga xizmat qilsa, chog‘ishtirma tilshunoslik ularning strukturaviy va funksional jihatlarini o‘zaro taqqoslash orqali tadqiq qiladi. Maqolada ushbu yondashuvlarning ilmiy-epistemologik asoslari va ularning zamonaviy tilshunoslikdagi o‘rni yoritib beriladi.
