GENERAL INFORMATION ON THE HISTORY OF RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION OF THE PEOPLES OF KARAKALPAKSTAN

Abstrak:

This scientific study presents an analytical discussion based on a comprehensive examination of the history of residential construction among the peoples living in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The research analyzes the formation and developmental stages of residential architecture from ancient times to the present, as well as the main factors that influenced it. Additionally, it scientifically describes the structural and functional features of yurts adapted to a nomadic lifestyle, the traditional housing forms that emerged during the transition to a settled way of life, the inner courtyard system, construction materials, and decorative elements. The findings of the study indicate that it serves as an important scientific basis for studying and preserving the regional architectural heritage and for its application in modern construction practices.
