The great English thinker, philosopher and statesman Francis Bacon is an author who made a great contribution to the development of the essay genre in European literature and philosophy of the XXI-XXII centuries. His book "Essays or Councels Civil and Moral" written during the period of serious social and economic changes of the New Era, which replaced the European Renaissance, is considered one of the valuable and rare works of English literature. This article is devoted to the study of the unique thoughts expressed by the great thinker in this literary source, who became the thinker who ensured the beginning of this development.

Each nation, in its speech and artistic creativity, strives to refer to the lexical units inherent in its national culture. In particular, in a work of art, the creator uses historical figures, historically significant places, historical events, mythological and textured images in order to reveal a certain content of the work. From this point of view, onomastic units in works of art manifest themselves in different states. They participate together with various associations in a literary text in accordance with the writer's artistic intention. Precedent names, which are one of such onomastic units, are studied in an interdisciplinary connection.

This study presents a comprehensive comparative analysis of the various manuscripts and printed editions of Alisher Navoi’s Hayrat ul-Abror, exploring the linguistic, textual, and philosophical variations that have emerged across different regions and historical periods. By employing a multidisciplinary methodology that combines philological analysis with historical-contextual examination, the research identifies significant lexical, syntactic, and thematic differences in the text. These variations are closely tied to the cultural and intellectual environments in which the manuscripts were produced, particularly the influence of Sufi metaphysics and regional linguistic norms. The findings underscore the dynamic nature of manuscript transmission and highlight how Navoi’s work was continually reshaped by evolving intellectual and cultural trends. The study contributes to a deeper understanding of literary transmission in the Persianate world and offers new insights into the broader processes of textual adaptation and interpretation.
