Аннотация:

This article attempts to analyze the national and cultural specificity of the English language through the proverbs used in the newspaper media text. Since modern linguistics pays much attention to the issue of interaction between language and culture, it is a newspaper text that is one of the well-known means of knowledge of this or that culture.
