Main Article Content
Abstract:
This article covers the tariffs war between the United States of America and the People’s Republic of China from 2018 to the present day. The relevance of this study is determined by the need for a comprehensive analysis of the impact of the tariff war on bilateral trade, economic development of the two countries, and global supply chains. Understanding these tendencies is crucial for both economists and politicians, as well as for businesses, involved in international trade relations. This article aims to identify the specific effects of tariffs in the US-China trade war, focusing on three aspects: bilateral trade, economic development, and global supply chains. The main purpose of this paper is to analyze how tariff war influenced both global economic hegemons.
