Abstrak:

Over the past decade, Uzbekistan has undergone a profound socio-economic transformation characterized by market-oriented reforms, institutional restructuring, and increased integration into the global economy. Since 2016, wide-ranging policy changes have been implemented to liberalize foreign exchange markets, improve the business environment, modernize public administration, and stimulate private sector development. According to international financial institutions, these reforms have significantly improved macroeconomic stability, economic growth, and social welfare indicators. This article analyzes Uzbekistan’s transformation trajectory through key socio-economic indicators such as GDP growth, structural reforms, foreign direct investment, poverty reduction, and human capital development. The study evaluates whether current reform dynamics position Uzbekistan on a sustainable path toward developed-country status.
