SOCIAL SCIENCES IN THE MODERN WORLD: HUMAN DIMENSIONS OF CULTURE, COMMUNICATION, AND IDENTITY

Main Article Content

Abstract:

In the twenty-first century, social sciences occupy a central position in understanding the complex transformations shaping modern societies. Rapid globalization, digitalization, migration processes, and cultural hybridity have profoundly altered traditional social structures and patterns of human interaction. This article explores the role of social sciences in interpreting these changes through a human-centered perspective, emphasizing culture, communication, and identity as key analytical categories. Particular attention is paid to how social sciences respond to contemporary challenges by integrating interdisciplinary approaches and adapting classical theoretical frameworks to new social realities. The study argues that modern social sciences are not merely descriptive disciplines, but active participants in shaping social awareness, ethical responsibility, and intercultural dialogue in an increasingly interconnected world.
