Abstract:
This article analyzes the theoretical essence of the concept of national historical consciousness, its place within the system of social consciousness, and the patterns of its formation. National historical consciousness is interpreted as a complex social phenomenon closely connected with historical memory, historiography, the education system, and state policy. Special attention is paid to methodological approaches to studying national historical consciousness and their scientific potential.
